System Overview

How SFPL Connect works

From physical sensors on the ground to live insights on any screen — the entire pipeline, seamlessly connected.

SFPL Connect system overview — sensors, IoT device, cloud, and user

Step 01

Connect your sensors

Attach any sensors — pressure, level, temperature, flow, and more — to the input pins of the SFPL Connect device. Supports single or multi-unit deployments.

Step 02

Device reads & transmits

The compact IoT device continuously reads all connected pins simultaneously and securely transmits the data to the SFPL cloud in real time.

Step 03

Cloud processes & stores

The SFPL cloud ingests, calibrates, and stores every reading. Custom calibration and per-pin alert thresholds are applied automatically.

Step 04

Monitor from anywhere

Access live dashboards, map views, alerts, and analytics through the SFPL admin portal on any device — browser or mobile.

The Hardware

Built for industrial-grade input

Every pin, slot, and connector is purposefully designed to handle real-world electrical environments with precision.

The SFPL Connect device is a compact, DIN-rail mountable IoT unit. Inside the rugged enclosure sits a custom PCB with screw-terminal I/O blocks, making field wiring fast and reliable.

17 input connections

AC high-voltage

3 pins

Isolated channels for line / phase voltage on distribution or branch circuits — up to 300 V AC per channel. Typical use: three-phase supplies (for example R–Y–B).

VRVYVB

AC low-voltage (CT)

3 pins

For low-amplitude AC from external transducers (not direct mains). Up to 5 V AC — ideal for current transformers (CTs) that output a proportional low voltage. up to 80 amps current can be measured.

IRIYIB

Analog DC inputs (general purpose)

9 pins

General-purpose DC voltage inputs (0–30 V span per channel) for pressure, level, temperature, flow, and other field devices — calibrate per channel in the portal.

Cellular

2G · integrated antenna

GSM module with 2G connectivity and integrated antenna for uplink in covered deployments.

Battery backup

2 × 3.7 V

Two 3.7 V cells with 1700 mAh pack capacity to help ride through short supply interruptions.
